Easter Holiday Club 2023
Our 2023 Easter Holiday Club will run from Monday the 3rd to Friday the 14th April and will be an actioned packed fortnight of activities and fun - our schedule is below however please note the trip locations/activities may change depending on availability.
(We are not open on Good Friday or Easter Monday - the 7th and 10th of April)
You do not need to attend the after school club to come to our holiday clubs, they are available to any primary school aged child. Care is provided from 8:15am till 5.45pm at Bristo Baptist Church, 1 Queensferry Road, EH4 3DJ
Where
Our holiday club is at Bristo Church where we rent a large hall with plenty of space for craft, imagination, and building activities at one end and active games at the other end such as football, dodgeball, assault courses, badminton, volleyball and more.
It's a fantastic site with a very handy car park at the back for easy drop off and pickup. Lothian buses also have a bus stop into town 2 minutes from the church.
How Much
Fees are £38 per child per day. This includes a snack, all entrance fees for trips and all transport costs if your child does not have a bus pass. All you need to do is bring suitable clothing and a packed lunch.

Please note payment is required at the time of booking either by bank transfer or childcare voucher. Edinburgh Zoo trip is TBC and could change to a different trip
Cancellation Policy - If you no longer require a session you can cancel it at any time. You will receive a full refund with more than 4 weeks notice, however if you cancel with less then four weeks notice then you will only be refunded if we can find another family to take your space. This includes not using a session due to illness. By paying for your booking you accept the terms of this policy.
MONDAY 3RD APRIL
Water of Leith Tour
Each year we visit the water of leith visitors centre because they do fantastic and engaging tours. Activities include going into the river to find little bugs, building a shelter with logs and branches and making a fire to cook marshmallows on. Needless to say its a really fun day out.
TUESDAY 4TH APRIL
Ball Games Day
Today we ask the children to come up with as many games as they can think of involving a ball. We will play some classics like dodgeball and football but the kids always come up with creative new games which is alot of fun.
If the weather is good to us we will do many of these games at Inverleith Park.
WEDNESDAY 5TH APRIL
Meadows Day
Today we will head up to the meadows on a bus to hopefully have some fun in the sun. If the Scottish weather is a little too wet then we will head down the road to the Chamber street museum as they will have some fun science fair activities.
THURSDAY 6TH APRIL
Easter Day
This will be a fun day full of Easter themed activities including egg decorating, an easter egg hunt and we will take the eggs to the local park to roll them down the hill.
TUESDAY 11TH APRIL
Edinburgh Zoo Day
Trip to our famous Zoo is always a popular one with the children. So much to see and do, plus they burn off plenty of energy climbing that hill! We will have an activity sheet for them to do and a competition to see how many animals they can find in their groups
WEDNESDAY 12TH APRIL
Baking Day
Today we will be creating some Easter treats for the children to enjoy. We will also have a go at making home made pizzas..
THURSDAY 13TH APRIL
Saughton Park Trip
Trip to one of the best playparks in Edinburgh. lots to do at Saughton park and often fun entertainment watching the older children go around the skate park.
FRIDAY 14TH APRIL
Bouncy Castle Day
When you are a child is there anything better than a bouncy castle to play with? We will spend the morning taking turns to play on the castle then in the afternoon we will take the kids outside.
