MONDAY 18TH OCTOBER
Cartoon Character Day
We start the week with a cartoon themed arts and crafts day. We will be creating our own cartoons, building characters out of junk modelling and creating some costumes. The kids are also welcome to come dressed up as their favorite cartoon character / superhero or princess.
TUESDAY 19TH OCTOBER
Today we will be returning to one of our favorite venues, Dynamic Earth. Thanks to the pandemic we haven't visited for 2years and several new additions have been made since then so excited for the chance to visit again. If we get good weather we will also pop across to Arthurs seat in the afternoon.
WEDNESDAY 20th OCTOBER
Museum and Meadows Day
Today we will be taking a trip to the Chamber Street Museum. We will split into groups and challenge the children to find items around the museum. If the weather is dry we will then visit the fantastic playpark in the meadows.
THURSDAY 21st OCTOBER
Bowling and Bouncing Day
Today we will take the children to World of Bowling and teach them how to bowl! Back at the church we will then have a bouncy castle for the children to burn off some energy on.
FRIDAY 22nd OCTOBER
We finish the week with a trip to the amazing Saughton Park and we hope to take the tram there to add to the adventure.
MONDAY 25th OCTOBER
As Halloween is at the end of this week we will theme the day around halloween activities. Creating spooky decorations, costumes and treats. A great way to get them in the mood for a spooky celebration on the weekend.
