Welcome to Daddy Daycare Newhaven

Our club at The Heart of Newhaven provides care for children attending two schools:
Trinity Primary School – P1-7
Victoria Primary School – P1-7

The children are collected from their school and walk back to the club accompanied by our experienced staff team.

At Newhaven we are based in the Anchor Building which is a modern, purpose built annexe in the playground of the former Victoria Primary School. We have use of a large playroom, a light and bright atrium, and a separate quiet room. This means the children have lots of space to play and be active, but they can also retreat to a chill out space when it suits them.

Outdoors the children are able to play in a large playground area including a football pitch! Over the next few months we will be collaborating with the various groups who use the Heart of Newhaven on improvements to the outdoor space as they have been fortunate enough to be granted lottery funding.

Our after-school club offers high quality care in a fun, stimulating environment. Children are offered a nutritious snack which is available throughout the session. They can then choose to play their own games with other children using the wide range of toys available or they can join in with an activity lead by one of the team. At Daddy Daycare we take a child lead approach where children can vote on their favourite snack, be actively involved in our recruitment of new staff and use suggestion boards to write activity or toy ideas.
