Welcome to Daddy Daycare Stockbridge

Daddy Daycare provides after school care for children attending Stockbridge Primary School.
Stockbridge Primary is a beautiful and historical Victorian school building. It is full of charm and charisma, but it is somewhat lacking in shared spaces which can be used for after school care! For this reason, we provide care for Stockbridge children across two sites; Stockbridge Primary School itself, and at Bristo Baptist Church.

Following a period of consultation, Stockbridge parents voted that the best way to split the children would be based on age. This means that the children are split as follows:
P1-3, plus any older siblings of P1-3 children if required – Stockbridge Primary School
P4-7 – Bristo Baptist Church (click here for the Bristo page)

The children are collected from the school by our team and either walk across the playground to the GP room or up to Bristo Church.

At Stockbridge we are based in the GP room which is in the Victorian Annex at the back of the playground. We have a playroom and a small quiet space, and outdoors the children are able to play in the school playground which has some wonderful equipment and a large shelter.

Our after-school club offers high quality care in a fun, stimulating environment. Children are offered a nutritious snack which is available throughout the session. They can then choose to play their own games with other children using the wide range of toys available or they can join in with an activity lead by one of the team. At Daddy Daycare we take a child lead approach where children can vote on their favourite snack, be actively involved in our recruitment of new staff and use suggestion boards to write activity or toy ideas.
