Easter Holiday Club 2024

Our 2024 Easter Holiday Club will cover the following dates:
OPEN from Tuesday 2nd to Friday 5th April
Monday 8th to the 12th April
Plus Monday 15th April
Our holiday clubs are available to any primary school aged child.
Care is provided from 8.15am till 5.45pm

Where
Daddy Daycare is opening TWO sites for the holiday club.
Daddy Daycare Newhaven - Annex building Heart of Newhaven, 4-6 Main Street, Newhaven, Edinburgh EH6 4HY
Daddy Daycare Stockbridge - Stockbridge Primary School, 17 Hamilton Pl, Edinburgh EH3 5BA

How Much
Fees are £40 per child per day. This includes the childcare, all entertainment, an afternoon snack and all trip entrance fees. Please bring suitable clothing each day for being outside and a packed lunch.

Please note
Trips may have to be moved or cancelled due to the weather and because it is challenging to accurately forecast Scottish weather the decisions will often be made last minute.

Cancellation Policy
Cancel with 28 days notice and you will receive a full refund
Cancel with less than 28 days notice and you will only receive a refund if we are able to find another family to take your place.
By booking your place with Daddy Daycare you agree to the terms of this policy.

TUESDAY 2ND APRIL
Easter Day
The Easter crafts, Easter games, even an Easter egg hunt. Everything Easter without the copious amounts of chocolate, they have enough energy without it!
WEDNESDAY 3RD APRIL

Zoo Day
​
Today we will be taking a trip to Edinburgh Zoo so wrap up warm as we will be climbing that hill to see the big cats!
​
THURSDAY 4th APRIL
Baking Day
​
Today we will be exploring what food and treats we can make without the aid of a cooker
We also have plans to take the children out to the park during the nicest part of the day.
FRIDAY 5th APRIL
Dress up day
​
Today we will be dressing up, making outfits, having a talent show and doing some fun dress up games hopefully outside if it is nice weather.
WEEK TWO
MONDAY 8th APRIL
Castle Day
​
Today we will build a castle, visit a castle, climb a castle and hopefully have lots of fun along the way.
​
TUESDAY 9th APRIL
Sports Day
Today we will be hoping for some nice weather so we can have a sports day in the park. We will be letting the children decide what games we play could include rounders, tennis, dodgeball, volleyball, football and more.

WEDNESDAY 10th APRIL
Disco Dancy Day
Today is party day! The children will be making some decorations, choosing the music and having a disco where we will try out some dance moves!

THURSDAY 11th APRIL
Park / Museum Day
If the weather is good we will head to a big park like the Meadows. If the rain starts we will visit the Museum as they always have alot of fun Easter activities.
FRIDAY 12th APRIL
Children's Choice Day
Today is currently a mystery activity! We have four different options which children in our after school clubs are voting for

WEEK THREE
MONDAY 15th APRIL
Children VS Staff Day
This was the children's suggestion! They wanted to challenge us to a series of competitions! Who can make the best paper airplane, build the highest tower, win the most sports. Safe to say the team working this day will be very tired by the time you pickup!
