Stockbridge Summer Holiday Club
The Stockbridge holiday club offers something different to other services, with only 16 spaces a day it offers a quieter nurturing environment for children who would benefit from a home from home feel. The club has three experienced staff to look after the 16 children providing nearly a 1:5 ratio, staff are first aid trained and a minimum of two will hold childcare qualifications.

WEEKS WE ARE OPEN - Open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for the following weeks 7th, 8th, 9th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 28th, 29th, 30th July plus 4th, 5th and 6th August.
ACTIVITIES - Each week will have a different focus area and over the three days children will learn this new skill and create something they can take home and treasure.

Terms and conditions
Travel - Prices are inclusive of any trip entrance fees, all the activities we provide and an afternoon snack. However children do need to bring their free Scottish Government Bus Pass or £2.75 cash each time we are scheduled to go out on a trip.
Scheduled activities - Please note that the £47 fee is for 9.5hrs childcare, not for specific activities. As we live in Scotland we will sometimes need to change the activities on the day so what you see below is a guide not a definitive list. So for example If we are due to go to the botanical gardens or a beach on Monday but its raining that day and sunshine on Wednesday we will swap the days around to ensure the days are enjoyable. If we ever have to change a day that is charged at £50 then we will refund the £3 trip contribution to parents but not the £47 as we are still providing the childcare.
Cancellations - Cancellations 28 days or more in advance will receive a £40 refund per session. Cancellations with under 28 days notice will not be refunded or removed from your account unless we are able to find another family to use your session.

Wild Woods Week
Tuesday 7th July
Forest Explorers
Head into the forest for a day packed with exploration, adventure and discovery. We will have fun map reading, take part in exciting forest scavenger challenges and enjoy plenty of woodland fun as we navigate the great outdoors.

Teddy Bears Picnic
Join us for a Teddy Bears Picnic among the trees with their favourite teddies before heading off to discover amazing animals and insects with some nature spotting.

Thursday 9th July
Forest Hideouts
Head out on a wander to the forest for a day filled with exploration, creativity and outdoor fun. We will design our own woodland dens using natural materials, tarpaulins and plenty imagination to create the perfect hideout.

Outdoor Adventures
Tuesday 14th July
Edinburgh Castle
Set off on an unforgettable Edinburgh adventure! We will explore the magic of Edinburgh Castle, listen out for the famous One o'clock gun and race through a lively scavenger hunt packed with clues and surprises.

Saughton Park
Enjoy a fun‑filled day at Saughton Park, packed with fresh air, exploring, and play!
Before heading back to the club for some outdoor challenges.

Canal Day
Dive into Canal Day! A big outdoor adventure.
We’ll enjoy the day wandering along the canal path, spot ducks, birds, and other wildlife, and take part in nature activities.

Colourful Crotchet
Get ready for a burst of colour with Colourful Crochet Creations Day!
We will make rainbow chains, friendship bracelets, and funky patterned squares using our favourite shades of wool.

Crotchet Creatures
Step into a world of imagination with Crochet Creatures Day!
We will learn simple stitches and turn colourful wool into mini animals, monsters, and cute pocket pets.

A fun, creative session where everyone gets stitching! Whether children are total beginners or already little crochet pros, we’ll explore their skills, learn new techniques, and dive into exciting crochet projects together.
